Telegram becomes the most downloaded non-gaming app worldwide for January 2021 with more than 63 million installs, which is 3.8 times the downloads in January 2020, according to the latest data released by Sensor Tower.
India topped the list among the countries with the highest number of installs with 24%, followed by Indonesia at 10%.
Telegram has reached the top position in the overall downloads (non-game) on Google Play Store moving from the 9th position in December 2020. The messaging app also entered the list of the top 10 most downloaded (non-game) apps on App Store.
